Curry Todd : Staunch Republican
Curry Todd is a leading constituent of the Tennessee House of Representatives. A seasoned constituent of the Republican Party, he has been active in the East Shelby County Republican Club, the Shelby County Conservative Republican Club, and the Republican Women of Purpose.
He believes that the principles of the Republican Party are best suited to guide Tennessee and the United States to peace and prosperity. As Curry Todd knows, the Republican Party has always defined itself as the protector of individual freedoms, a core belief that has been in place since the party's inception in 1854. And like all Republicans, he is committed to the cause of freedom and liberty.
Curry Todd is committed to the Party's belief in smaller government, as evidenced by his involvement with the American Legislative Exchange Council. He says that it is necessary for the government to be limited in order to preserve and best serve the sanctity of the individual. He supports the Federalist System of Government, and restricting the growth of a centralist Federal government. As a constituent of the State House, he believes that individual States are best suited to determine which programs and measures are the most appropriate for the people of Tennessee.
